Macau 2012 - Day 2 (Part 2)

We took a cab and ask the cab driver to bring us to A-Ma temple. A-Ma Temple -  Built in 1488, it is one of the oldest and most famous Taoist temples in Macau. The temple is dedicated to Matsu, the goddess of seafarers and fishermen.

There are five prayer halls at the temple and you will also notice there are many kinds of stone inscriptions in A-Ma Temple including calligraphy of literatures of the past dynasties.

Reminder: No entrance fee on the temple

Just across the temple is the port area. We sat on the available bleachers and enjoyed the sun and chilly wind. lol.

From afar we could see the famous Macau tower. Patrick requested that we drop by the tower so he could take some sunset shots for his Iphonenogaphy project. lol.

We had a few issues regarding how are we going to the tower, either bus, taxi or just walk. Patrick said that it's just a walking distance but all of us are kinda having a hard time to believe him. lol. So we ended up taking a cab and true enough to our instinct, it is not a walking distance! lol.

Macau Tower is the tenth tallest free-standing tower in the world offers a best view of Macau. It has an observation deck with panoramic views, theaters, restaurants, shopping malls and Skywalk X.

Reminder: Ticket Price: HKD110 - Adult ; HKD50 - Child and Senior Citizen

While waiting for the sunset we had some snacks at Singing Bean Coffee. We ordered something to munch (Salad, Tower Burger, Chocolate Milk Shake, Fruit Shake). I personally like the Milk Tea.

Valerie was really amazed with their tomato ketchup! lol.

Pictures while waiting for the sunset:

While waiting for the sunset we could see some people doing bungee jumping from the Tower. While we're chatting, we'll just hear people screaming on top of their lungs as they jump out of the tower! It's crazy!!! Even I would get jumpy whenever I hear or see them jump! lol. Patrick was thinking of trying it but I was the first one to decline.. I wanna go back to Manila in fine feathers.. lol.

Just as we're done with the sunset. We went back to our hotel and had a quick rest and geared up for the casino-ful night!
